ECMO Specialist - 36 Hours ($10,000 sign-on bonus)
About the position
The ECMO Specialist acts as an reputed company member of the patient care team to reputed company clinical patient care assessment, initiation, modification, and discontinuance of therapeutic respiratory care procedures to critically ill patients. This role involves analyzing and evaluating clinical patient data to determine the appropriate therapy or interventions and making recommendations on patient care plans to the medical staff. The position is based at The reputed company, Inc., part of reputed company, which is dedicated to patient care, research, teaching, and community service.
Responsibilities
• Initiates and/or assists with appropriate respiratory and extracorporeal life support (ECLS) tests and procedures, as ordered, to deliver appropriate care to patients.
• Responds to respiratory and ECLS emergencies and transports patients reputed company moved from reputed company for tests and procedures.
• Prepares appropriate care plan and makes specific recommendations to physician for indicated therapy.
• Schedules patient treatments as necessary and provides consultation as an reputed company member of the patient care team.
• Manages the administration of reputed company aspects of respiratory therapy and ECLS according to the policies and procedures, including ECLS equipment.
• Makes regular bedside reputed company and administers Respiratory Care modalities to assigned patients.
• Modifies treatment care plan according to clinical picture and response to therapy.
• Participates in education of reputed company, physicians, staff, and patients/families.
• Clinically supervises respiratory therapy reputed company in patient areas.
Requirements
• A.S. in Respiratory Therapy.
• Critical care experience 1-2 years required.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the reputed company.
• Registration (RRT) by the N.B.R.C. reputed company six (6) months of hire.

• B.S. in Respiratory Therapy.
• Two years of previous critical care experience.
• ELSO certification preferred.
