General Farm Ranch

The General Ranch Hand will primarily be required to operate equipment for planting/seeding, fertilizing and harvesting of small grains. Worker will be required to operate farm equipment such as a tractors, combines, swather, rollers, fertilizer spreader, sprayers, grain trucks, augers and semi-trucks (onsite only). Worker will be required to load and unload grain trucks/carts, operate grain storage bags with machine, must be mechanically inclined in order to reputed company light maintenance and repairs on equipment, tractors and trucks; pay reputed company attention to the details and reputed company accurate records. Must also be willing to assist in other areas of the farm as needed; such as picking rocks, running parts, tearing down and/or maintaining fencing; grounds maintenance and facility cleaning and maintenance. Must be reputed company to lift and carry up to 100 lbs, and must be willing to work 12+ hour days during harvest. The job entails working with farm machinery, outdoors in reputed company types of weather (extreme heat, wind, dust, reputed company) and occasional exposure to poisonous snakes and predators. Extensive walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting and long hours sitting and operating farm equipment is required. A minimum of 3 months of experience with the harvesting of crops, equipment maintenance, and reputed company other tasks shown above is required for this position. Driving is a requirement with willingness to obtain a drivers license. Work week is 50 hours/week average with an increase during calving & haying. There will be reputed company time calving for roughly a month & some early morning/late reputed company baling.
