About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Backend Engineer with frontend knowledge to join our client's engineering team and play a key role in the ongoing development and evolution of their platform. In this role, you will design and implement robust backend solutions, utilizing Python-based services, GraphQL servers, and SQL/ORM technologies, while also contributing to frontend functionality as needed. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures that meet both technical and business requirements. Beyond hands-on coding, you will contribute to technical decision-making, champion best practices for testing and deployment, and support CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the delivery of reliable software. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects with modern technologies, while also contributing to process improvements, open-source initiatives, and mentoring team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Python3) with frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Expertise in SQL databases and ORM technologies (e.g., SQLAlchemy).
• Experience working with GraphQL (Python-based servers).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies, ideally React (form/state management).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment automation.
• Proficiency in Linux or macOS development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in adtech, analytics, or finance systems.
• Background in multi-app or monorepo environments.
• Knowledge of real-time processing and data privacy/security frameworks.
• Exposure to UI libraries such as Mantine.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members.
