About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full remote basis, working weekends only. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering top-notch support. Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via inbound phone calls, email, live chat, or other means as needed, providing timely and effective support
  • Exceed daily quotas consisting of inbound/outbound phone calls, emails, and live chats, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
  • Record detailed notes of customer communication, maintaining real-time communication and keeping inventory volumes current
  • Create lifelong customers by responding to their inquiries in a creative, personal, comprehensive, unique, and consistent manner, demonstrating the customer's value
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, providing efficient and courteous responses in a timely and friendly manner
  • Collaborate with other Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Managers to provide the best experience possible, while adapting to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Utilize proficient computer skills and technical knowledge to operate in a remote work environment, maintaining consistent and undivided attention to assigned responsibilities

Required Skills and Abilities

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Clear and articulate telephone voice without major background noise or distractions
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workloads, with strong communication skills and excellent decision-making skills
  • Self-motivation, with a reliable and consistent work performance, and the ability to learn quickly
  • Experience with a multi-line phone system, and computer skills including Microsoft Office, various cloud-based platforms such as Salesforce, data entry, and word processing
  • Upbeat and positive attitude, with the ability to maintain the reputation of blithequark and any assigned clients
  • Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly expanding dynamic organization

Qualifications and Education

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service capacity, with strong customer service skills
  • High School diploma or GED required, with excellent time management skills as an independent self-starter
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, with the ability to work weekends only, with a start time of 2 PM or 5 PM EST
  • Must have your own computer or laptop with a keyboard and a mouse (IPAD, chromebooks, and mobile devices are NOT allowed)

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and telephone
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
