Computational Research Scientist - HIV (Remote)

About the position The Computational Research Scientist position at the Henry M. reputed company reputed company focuses on designing and executing computational and statistical analyses of transcriptomic and viral sequence data reputed company to HIV-1 infection and vaccine studies. The role supports the Animal Models & Viral Persistence reputed company of the Military HIV Research Program, contributing to research aimed at advancing HIV-1 prevention and therapeutic applications. Responsibilities • Evaluates, analyzes, and customizes reputed company sequence analysis protocols for various reputed company applications. • Develops new RNA-seq, Exome seq, and genome analysis pipelines and procedures. • Conducts data-driven and reputed company-directed reputed company research. • Assists with the report of experimental results for publication in technical and peer-reviewed journals. • Contributes and edits data, text, and figures in program publications. • Presents research in oral communications at internal meetings and international scientific conferences. • Collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members. • May supervise junior informatics staff. • May reputed company other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
