**Job Summary**
As a Sr Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading our data product portfolio and driving strategic decisions that impact our business outcomes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans that drive growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in data science, product management, and leadership will be invaluable in shaping our data strategy and driving business results.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develops the long-term vision of a data product portfolio or strategic capability that drives strategies, requirements, and roadmaps; understands the competitive landscape and directly influences the enterprise in how it makes portfolio-specific decisions; owns the different product roadmaps that make up the product portfolio; and influences investment choices that yield long-term customer benefits in support of the vision.
* Owns and leads the customer, loyalty, and marketing data ecosystem and serves the customer and marketing organization with actionable analytics to support delivering top-line sales and productivity improvements.
* Develops a culture of innovation and experimentation and encourages two-way door initiatives that address customer needs.
* Owns annual planning for the product portfolio and represents the team in discussions with executives.
* Owns the user experience (UX) and sets the direction for the UX design of products within the product portfolio or strategic capability.
* Defines processes and measurements for the team to effectively track development work and triage bugs of products in the product portfolio.
* Partners with relevant stakeholders and leads and owns the development of launch and go-to-market plans of products within the product portfolio or strategic capability.
* Identifies issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of products in the product portfolio or strategic capability, communicates to leadership, assesses alternatives to resolve, and takes action to resolve.
* Ensures customer and business goals remain aligned with identified customer needs; sets the strategy for customer engagement and leads its execution.
* Engages with internal and external thought leaders to drive product leadership within the portfolio.
* Leads and owns operational product strategy of the portfolio or strategic capability and ensures alignment with other portfolio owners.
* Facilitates an understanding among the team of broader organizational goals and the role each team plays; audits team goals and is accountable for product portfolio performance against broader organizational goals.
* Leads a team in support of achieving the company's mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.
* Leverages data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of assigned products and related P&L impacts, and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Develops and presents communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient.
* Monitors technology trends and anticipates their impact on the product roadmap; leverages this understanding to drive innovation.
* Collaborates with the broader product and technology management community to understand dependencies and create a community of practice.
**Essential Qualifications**
* 12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, and/or product management
* 7 years of direct team leadership experience across software engineering, product management, or data science
* Prior experience in marketing, customer, and retail media networks analytics, building, deploying, and operationalizing highly scalable, resilient, and critical data technology solutions solving business problems in a product model
* Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with software development teams to launch online products
* Experience with large-scale order management and inventory systems
* Experience with customer relationship management systems
* Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree
