Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Overview Our modern and fun dental office in Portland wants to add a Dental Assistant! We're looking for someone as passionate about dentistry as we are, who can provide the best patient care and have fun while doing it! Compensation: $23-28 per hour, based on experience Schedule • Full-time • Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 am-5:00 pm • Fridays, 7:30 am-4:00 pm Benefits • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • PTO and Paid Holidays • Short and long-term disability coverage • Traditional and Roth 401(k) options • In-house dental benefits for employees and their immediate family • Paid parking provided Qualifications/Responsibilities • Prior hands-on dental assisting experience is highly preferred • Sterilization knowledge and experience are required • Knowledge of Dentrix software • Provide excellent patient care with a warm and welcoming attitude • Prepare patient for treatment and checkup with an emphasis on patient comfort • Help prep and clean the office and treatment rooms • Assist the doctor during dental procedures • Verify patient health history and document in their file while maintaining patient confidentiality • Taking X-rays • Assist with other practice needs as requested INDHRDA03 Employment Type: OTHER Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
