Delivery Dispatcher
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Dispatcher to manage a growing fleet of box trucks, cargo vans, sedans, and pickup trucks. You will own the daily routing and dispatch process from 6 AM to 3 PM, ensuring every delivery is on time, every driver is utilized, and every customer is delighted.
This is a pure commission role—your income scales directly with volume and performance. With current volume at 60 deliveries/day and rapid expansion to 300+, top performers will far exceed the $60K baseline.
Key Responsibilities
• Dispatch and optimize routes for 60–300+ daily deliveries using industry-leading routing software.
• Assign loads to the right vehicle (box truck, cargo van, sedan, pickup) based on size, urgency, and location.
• Communicate real-time updates to drivers via phone, text, and routing platform.
• Answer inbound customer & client inquiries via phone and email with white-glove service.
• Resolve issues on the fly: reroutes, delays, proof-of-delivery, access instructions.
• Maximize driver productivity and on-time performance while minimizing deadhead miles.
• End-of-day reconciliation: confirm all deliveries, collect PODs, flag discrepancies.
Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 2 years dispatching multi-vehicle fleets (box trucks, vans, sedans, pickups).
• Expert-level proficiency with routing/dispatch software (Samsara, Route4Me, Onfleet, etc.).
• Professional email etiquette and rapid response times.
• Proven track record of high-volume customer service under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality (6 AM start).

Compensation Structure
• 100% commission – paid per successful delivery.
• Current 60/day volume = $60K annualized baseline.
