As a remote customer service representative with blithequark, you'll be an integral part of this mission, working closely with our clients to resolve issues, answer questions, and exceed expectations. **Key Responsibilities** As a customer service representative with blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional customer service through inbound phone calls, chat messages, and email responses * Resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely, professional manner * Utilizing problem-solving skills to address complex customer concerns * Maintaining a friendly, empathetic tone and professional demeanor in all interactions * Collaborating with our clients to understand their needs and preferences * Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and service offerings to provide informed support **Schedule and Flexibility** We understand that flexibility is key to a healthy work-life balance. While the majority of work hours will be during weekdays and daytime, we offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs. **Earnings and Revenue** As an independent contractor with blithequark, your earnings will vary based on the client and performance metrics. Our competitive rates typically range from $14 to $20 per hour, with additional incentives available for meeting or exceeding client expectations. **Required Skills and Qualifications** To succeed as a customer service representative with blithequark, you'll need: * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care * Keen attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills * Friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor * Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset * Proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software **Technology and Equipment Requirements** To ensure seamless connectivity and clear communication, you'll need: * A quiet and secure work environment during working hours * A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted) * A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication * High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity * Operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS) * Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed * A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app **Work Environment Requirements** To maintain a productive and efficient work environment, you'll need: * A quiet, uninterrupted space * An organized desk area **Important Information** Please note that we are currently unable to work with contractors residing in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC. Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check. We are able to work with contractors residing in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico. **Contractual Relationship** As an independent contractor with blithequark, you'll maintain a contractual relationship with our organization. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment, and blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us.
