**The Role**
As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development at blithequark, you'll be a key member of our team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure web and cloud applications. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design solutions, and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to design and develop scalable and secure web and cloud applications
* Participate in the planning and development of innovative cloud-based solutions using AWS and other cloud platforms
* Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, and other cloud-native tools
* Work with data scientists and machine learning engineers to design and implement data-driven solutions using AWS and other cloud platforms
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and web technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
* 4+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS and other cloud platforms
* 2+ years of experience in leading or participating in agile development teams
* Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, including AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform, and other cloud platforms
* Experience with data pipelines, data warehousing, and data analytics using AWS and other cloud platforms
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and C++
* Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
* Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
**Preferred Qualifications**
* AWS Certification in Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or related field
* Experience with data quality tools, such as Great Expectations, Deequ, or similar
* Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
* Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
* Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and technologies
