Position Overview

As an Associate, Customer Acquisition at blithequark, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by demonstrating the value and benefits of our products or services to customers. Your primary focus will be on selling and/or renewing contracts, and you will be responsible for effectively articulating the value of our products or services to customers. You will work within a dedicated territory and team to achieve your revenue-based quota, and you will be expected to provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a dedicated territory and team to achieve your revenue-based quota by selling renewals/services and identifying up-sell opportunities
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts to inform business decisions
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to assess client requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Initiate steps to address customer concerns and roadblocks, ensuring customer satisfaction and product usage
  • Manage external competitive pressures and handle objections to retain customers and win new business
  • Manage a high volume of customer contacts through phone and email, with a focus on outbound communication
  • Collaborate with your team and management to provide a professional experience during all interactions with customers and prospects
  • Maintain our customer management system (CRM) to ensure all relevant data is captured and up-to-date
  • Undertake sales motions, including lead qualification, lead conversion, health checks, and renewing contracts
  • Work closely with your team and report directly to a Sales Manager to achieve your goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer service or sales capacity, with a proven track record of achieving personal and team sales quota/goals
  • Experience in high-volume calling and managing a large volume of customer contacts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs and experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Experience learning new technology and data, with a willingness to adapt to new systems and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
