Experienced Full Time Remote Customer Service Representative – Sleep Therapy Inbound Call Center Specialist

We are now seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our Sleep Central Inbound Call Center team, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.
About the Role
As a Sleep Therapy Inbound Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the first line of contact for our CPAP resupply customers, providing them with personalized support, guidance, and education on our products and services. Your primary responsibilities will include managing high-volume inbound phone calls, processing new orders, verifying patient demographics, and providing basic sleep coaching and technical assistance. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a working knowledge of our products, services, and industry regulations, ensuring that you are always equipped to provide accurate and helpful information to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collect patient information and input data into our e-Intake system with accuracy and attention to detail
- Complete thorough verification of products and services to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA and JCAHO guidelines
- Provide education to patients and location employees on CPAP supplies and equipment
- Use our proprietary e-Intake system to maintain accuracy and quality control throughout initial patient contact and data input
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask with attention to detail. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, and one to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment is preferred.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment
- Strong customer service background
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in different communication mediums
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of billing reimbursement and insurance policies and requirements
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Knowledge of medical billing practices
- Medical terminology
- Experience working in a call center environment
