GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB FUNCTION:
The Administrative Director, Denver Church Liaison and Budget Manager position supports the execution of the vision and strategy of the second phase of the Young Adult Initiative (YAI). This position works closely with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to manage the YAI budget, conduct research, create educational experiences and materials, and promote the work of the Young Adult Initiative to help congregations attract, disciple, retain, and mobilize young adults and young adult ministers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Program Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to determine initiative priorities, scope, and direction for the Denver metro area. Collaborate to execute and administer those priorities, ensuring goals are met.
2. Budget Ownership: Manage the YAI budget and approve YAI expenses.
3. Expense Tracking: Track expenditures, such as travel and programmatic activities.
• Field Research: In collaboration with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, design and conduct sound research. This role will develop relationships with and conduct research within Denver metro area churches.
5. Content Development: Design and produce educational content. This may include, but is not limited to, podcasts, blog posts, social media presence, and webinars.
6. Events & Convenings: Create and execute YAI events, such as confluence events for area churches.
7. Stakeholder Engagement: Based on research findings, contribute to a playbook that congregations can use to better attract, disciple, retain, and mobilize young adults and young adult ministers.
8. Other Duties – Related tasks as assigned in support of YAI and Academic Affairs.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
REQUIRED
· Master’s degree or equivalent experience
· Experience with administrative oversight and support
· Strong project & time management; ability to juggle multiple workstreams in a part-time rhythm.
· Business interpersonal skills; emotional intelligence skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for budget tracking; Word/PowerPoint).
STRONGLY PREFERRED
· Experience working with young adults and/or young adult ministers
· Ministry experience (local or international).
· Experience hosting events for ministry leaders.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office working conditions, including computer usage, may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
