Job Overview

We are seeking 1,900 experienced customer service representatives to join our team at blithequark. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may have. This is a full-time, remote position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues they may have
  • Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
  • Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform passenger check-in and front seat assignment (except curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades
  • Issue vouchers or coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh
  • Perform passenger boarding, including ticket lift or ticket lift/confirmation
  • Work gate reader/scanner and related duties to include pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on items, and exit lane models
  • Work jetways/bridges for purposes of boarding and deplaning passengers
  • Make boarding and flight gate announcements
  • Convey domestic/international flight documents
  • Perform passenger service flight close-out procedures
  • Accept, check, and label passengers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
  • Maintain schedule of flight boarding process
  • Perform customer service hands-on training
  • Process and complete Visa baggage transactions at counters in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage handling at ticket counters
  • Line queues at ticket counter kiosks and ticket counters
  • Clear/confirm international documents at kiosk in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Accept and activate passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
  • Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulatory passengers, special assistance passengers, or unaccompanied minors
  • Perform customer service work associated with handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
  • Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including meeting any mandatory overtime requirements
  • Answer and assist during security and/or emergency situations
  • Provide connecting passengers with gate information
  • Deliver quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with blithequark's guidelines
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Complete job-relevant stages of training
  • Comply with applicable laws (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA)
  • Use various internal resources/systems, including during customer interactions
  • Wear uniform as required by company policy

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree and excellent communication and customer service skills. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to learn quickly. Bilingual language skills are preferred in certain locations, and you will need to have a valid driver's license as required by local authorities. You will also need to be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Valid driver's license as required by local authorities
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Passenger Service Systems
  • Prior face-to-face customer service experience
  • Experience working in a high-speed environment
