Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Inbound Travel Representative, Sales, and Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Taking inbound calls from existing owners who are excited to plan their dream vacations
- Booking car rentals, airfare, hotel reservations, cruises, and recommending things to see and experience in the area based on our owners' interests
- Providing exceptional customer service, building rapport with customers, and offering additional services to meet their travel needs
- Working with travel software programs and systems, such as Apollo, Sabre, or Worldspan
- Meeting sales targets and achieving monthly incentives
- Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and managing pressure
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- At least six months of customer service and sales experience
- Intermediate level proficiency with travel software programs and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace with high-speed internet and a reliable computer
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Six months of travel experience
- Advanced knowledge of travel software programs and systems
