Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Needed for School-Based Position in Henderson, NC

Are you a certified Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a new opportunity? Are you a passionate about working with students? We are looking for a Pediatric Nurse in Henderson, North Carolina for the full school year. As a school-based Nurse, you will play an important role in assisting a student with health needs! About the Position: • Current School Year • Full-time • $25 - $45 an hour, depending on previous experience and level • Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process About the Responsibilities • Provide dedicated nursing care to one student, including monitoring health status, administering medications, and performing medical procedures as prescribed. • Develop and maintain a healthcare plan in collaboration with the school health team, the student’s family, and healthcare providers. • Respond to and manage acute medical situations related to the student’s condition. • Ensure that all medical interventions and care are documented in accordance with school policies and state regulations. • Serve as a liaison between the student’s family, school personnel, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and communicate the student’s health status. • Participate in school meetings related to the student’s health and educational plans. • Maintain student privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant laws.
