Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional inbound phone-based customer service, managing relationships, and generating additional sales through up-selling and cross-selling. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, navigating multiple computer applications, and efficiently using technology tools to resolve customer complaints, answer questions, and process orders. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on blithequark's products and policies, you will provide expert service to highly valued customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inbound phone-based customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage relationships with customers, generating additional sales through up-selling and cross-selling, and promoting products that meet their needs and interests
- Resolve complaints, answer general questions, process orders, and complete various administrative projects as needed
- Communicate with customers regarding all aspects of purchasing, owning, and returning blithequark's products, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience
- Simultaneously manage multiple computer applications and technology tools, efficiently navigating Windows (MS Office) programs like Outlook and Excel
- Achieve detailed knowledge of blithequark's products and policies, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide expert service to customers
- Adapt to frequent changes in policy, product offerings, and Call Center operations, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree or higher
- Two (2) years of in-bound, phone-based customer service and sales experience, strongly preferred
- Technical savvy, with the ability to effectively use technology tools and resources required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job
- Experience working in Outlook and Excel, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and accurately record information
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to provide top-notch, outstanding service to customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger, highly supportive team, with the ability to sit at a computer and work on the phone for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
