This role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims while ensuring compliance with reputed company relevant policies and laws. Responsibilities: • Investigate, evaluate, and determine compensability of time loss and catastrophic claims. • Calculate average monthly wage, set reserves, and authorize indemnity and medical benefits. • Update claims systems, negotiate settlements, and notify agency loss prevention coordinators. • Monitor diagnosis changes to ensure ICD codes are reputed company for Medicare purposes. • Coordinate with reputed company case managers, attorneys, and subrogation specialists. • Identify and coordinate Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). • Communicate with agency personnel and injured employees; conduct claim management training. • Manage litigation in coordination with the Attorney Generals Office or reputed company counsel. • reputed company contracted vendors (reputed company case managers, investigators, IME services, etc.). Required Skills • 4+ years of claims experience (including indemnity experience). Preferred Skills • reputed company Adjusters License. • Proficiency in reputed company Suite.
