As an Experienced Information Specialist II, you'll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that's passionate about leveraging data to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Information Specialist II, you'll be responsible for: * Planning and developing high-quality content for versatility, reliability, and execution * Troubleshooting complex Splunk issues using your expertise in cutting-edge looking and dashboarding * Collaborating with external applications and frameworks as needed * Advancing and teaching our customer community on Splunk search, alarm, and dashboard best practices * Providing daily functional and local area support * Performing data understanding, ordering, and enhancement * Creating and managing information articles, including fields, extractions, labels, event types, queries, workflow activities, pseudonyms, and macros * Developing report-based reports and data model speed increase * Working from home, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs **What You'll Need** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * At least 3 years of experience in creating advanced Splunk dashboards and searches in Splunk * Experience in pre-planning (Python, JavaScript, or other) * Splunk's Basic XML System and application structure * Ordinary expressions * Driving insights with data and Splunk products * Creating dashboards in Dashboard Studio * Ansible and Git * Web architecture * Collaborating and communicating with application teams to drive innovative solutions for corporate data collection to business logging stages * Troubleshooting intricate Splunk organization issues using knowledge of automation, pre-planning, Ansible, AWS, REST APIs, and Splunk Enterprise * Creating, testing, and deploying various Splunk setups and Splunk technology add-ons * Possessing and driving Splunk system and data organization best practices, including data onboarding * Assisting in the creation of advanced dashboards, reports, alarms, and other data objects in Splunk to drive value across the organization * Working from home, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs * The position is eligible for the Employee Reference Program **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * At least 3 years of experience in Splunk administration and development * Strong understanding of Splunk's Basic XML System and application structure * Experience with Ansible, Git, and web architecture * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages * Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization * Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools * Strong knowledge of cloud computing and DevOps practices * Experience with agile development methodologies **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization * Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools * Strong knowledge of cloud computing and DevOps practices * Experience with agile development methodologies * Strong understanding of Splunk's Basic XML System and application structure * Experience with Ansible, Git, and web architecture **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
