**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Advocate at blithequark, you will serve as the first-line advocate for resolving inquiries, issues, or concerns for our members and providers. You will leverage a variety of communication channels to provide timely, accurate, and personalized support, ensuring that our members and providers receive the highest level of service. **Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Advocate, your key responsibilities will include:
* **Responding to Routine Inquiries**: Receive and respond to routine member and/or provider inquiries, requests, and/or concerns in an accurate and timely manner.
* **Mitigating Escalations**: Mitigate and prevent complaints from being escalated to resolve in initial contact.
* **Front-Line Resolution**: Serve as the front-line resolution advocate on various member and/or provider inquiries, requests, or concerns.
* **Problem-Solving**: Resolve basic problems by communicating the requested information regarding the assessment of the member or provider needs, understanding the cause, and determining if problems need to be routed to other departments for further resolution.
* **Performance and Quality Standards**: Maintain performance and quality standards based on established contact center metrics.
* **Customer Service**: Provide customer service in a high-paced contact center environment over the phone, via live chats, and emails.
* **Documentation**: Document all member or provider information and communications for quality and performance tracking through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications.
* **Quality and Compliance**: Remain up-to-date and adhere to quality standards, regulation, and all other policies to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful as an Experienced Customer Service Advocate at blithequark, you will need:
* **Education**: A High School Diploma or GED.
* **Experience**: Call Center/Customer Service experience with a strong ability to multitask and work independently from home.
* **Problem-Solving Skills**: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with members and providers.
* **Technical Skills**: Ability to work with 4 or more systems simultaneously and proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
* **2-Year Call Center Experience**: 2 years of experience in a call center environment.
* **Claims Experience**: 2 years of experience in claims handling.
* **Medicaid Knowledge**: Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and policies.
* **Microsoft Computer Applications**: Previous experience with Microsoft computer applications.
* **Remote Work Experience**: Previous experience working remotely using multiple applications and screens.
