Job Overview

This is a full-time remote working position as an Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services at blithequark. The successful candidate will direct the execution of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. As a clinical expert and leader, you will be responsible for implementing clinical policies and procedures, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement clinical policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulatory and licensure standards (e.g., NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations and mandates as applicable)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to the team regarding practice guidelines, quality of interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking
  • Ensure implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address the needs of patients across the continuum of care
  • Act as a liaison with other key business areas, including sales and operations teams
  • Develop and/or assist in the development and review of new training content
  • Collaborate and deliver inter- and intra-departmental training sessions
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of patient data and adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality
  • Oversee resources responsible for identification of patients, development and implementation of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care, and monitoring, evaluating, and documenting of care
  • Analyze and interpret data, identify areas for improvement, and focus on interventions to improve outcomes
  • Establish, initiate, evaluate, monitor, and communicate performance expectations
  • Ensure the team's understanding and utilization of data system capability and functionality
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff, involving clearly defined requirements with regard to education, experience, technical, and performance skills
  • Evaluate developmental needs and collaborate with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams
  • Establish a work environment and style that promotes the concept of teamwork, cross-product integration, and continuum of care feeling that results in strong performance
  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to act as a model change agent and lead change efforts
  • Establish a positive work environment by recognizing team contributions, requesting input, and offering individual support when required
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures and execute them at the employee level
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, patients, staff, and other leaders (e.g., may provide support to the sales staff and company staff via on-site client visits as well as presentations)

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical subject matter
  • Active and unrestricted RN or LCSW licensure in the state of residence
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managed Medicare insight
  • Experience working remotely/independent contractor, using tools to virtually collaborate and connect with teams
  • Training and certification requirements (e.g., NCQA, URAC)
