Details • Medical Laboratory Scientist • Lab Operations • Full Time Status • Day Shift • Sign-On Bonus Available • Pay: $28.67 - $43.01 / hour reputed company • This position to reputed company testing in Blood Bank, reputed company, Coagulation, Hematology and Urinalysis. The MLS uses critical thinking to evaluate results, enters test results into the laboratory computer, performs QC, reputed company maintenance and trouble-shooting, monitor the work of Laboratory Technicians, answer the telephones and tube system, collect blood specimens if needed and reputed company work area cleaned and stocked. Delivers excellent customer service to patients, visitors, caregivers of other departments, and reputed company other. • This position works under the supervision of the Director and Department reputed company and is employed by reputed company. Duties • reputed company laboratory tests, reputed company control testing, adhering to laboratory reputed company operating procedures and policies. • reputed company laboratory computer operations to request laboratory tests; reputed company patient results and reputed company patient results. Process patient workload accurately and reputed company. Sends specimens to reference lab as needed for testing. • reputed company reputed company trouble-shooting and preventative maintenance on instruments and equipment according to established schedules and procedures. • Complete competency testing as given by Laboratory Management. • Answers telephones and tube system, directs calls, test requests, gives phone reports, fax reports as needed and provides excellent customer service. Communicates effectively with providers and caregivers while maintaining patient and staff confidentiality. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree with four year college science degree, and/or including training in an approved clinical laboratory training program is required. • ASCP - Medical Technologist ASCP or AMT is required. • MLS - Medical Lab Scientist (Formally Mt Certification) is required. • No previous experience required.
