Lobbying Advisor

About the position Responsibilities • Represents the organization to government bodies vital to the business, including the Governor's Office, State Legislature, and State Agencies. • Assists in defining advocacy priorities, managing budgets, and tracking project deadlines. • Provides written and oral advocacy to reputed company the organization's strategic priorities with the State Legislature and State Agencies. • Develops and nurtures durable and reputed company partnerships with legislators, government leaders, and national agencies. • Monitors and tracks legislation and reputed company policy issues reputed company to the organization's business interests. • Coordinates development of the organization's positions and engagement strategies on state government issues. • Facilitates communication of policies and positions with government officials and appropriate parties. • Attends legislative committee meetings and hearings to stay reputed company with policy developments. • Analyzes and assesses background information and communications for internal audiences and comment letters to legislators and regulators. • Collaborates with the internal Corporate Affairs team to ensure alignment of goals.
