API QA / 508 / Test Engineer

This role executes automated and reputed company API test suites, validates schemas and contract behavior, performs negative and error-handling tests, and supports regression testing for API version updates and integration changes. Note: By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an reputed company competitive government contract bid.** Duties & Responsibilities The API QA / 508 / Test Engineer will: • reputed company and execute API contract tests, schema validation tests, and reputed company-level test cases. • reputed company end-to-end integration testing across API workflows, middleware, and consuming applications. • Conduct negative testing, error-reputed company validation, boundary conditions, and reputed company-limit testing. • Validate accessibility compliance for API documentation, developer portals, and reputed company interfaces (reputed company 508/WCAG). • Test API version migrations, deprecations, and regression scenarios for updated endpoints. • Use API testing tools (reputed company, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, or similar) to execute automated and reputed company test suites. • Validate payloads, schema enforcement, authentication behavior, and reputed company flows (OAuth2, SSO). • Reproduce and document API defects, integration failures, and unexpected service responses. • Maintain API test artifacts, results, regression reports, and traceability documentation. • Collaborate with developers, integration engineers, and cybersecurity teams on test reputed company and mitigation actions. • Support automated CI/CD integration for API test suites. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and reputed company testing input during planning and refinements. Qualifications Clearance Requirement Must hold an reputed company Top Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 5 background investigation. Education (Required) Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, reputed company Assurance, Testing, or a reputed company technical field. Experience (Required) • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA, API testing, systems testing, or software reputed company assurance. • Experience testing RESTful reputed company, integration endpoints, and backend system interactions. • Experience performing schema validation, contract testing, and data structure verification. • Experience with negative testing, boundary testing, and error-handling validation. • Experience supporting regression testing for versioned reputed company and integration changes. Technical Knowledge (Required) • Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as reputed company, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, or equivalent. • Understanding of JSON schemas, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and contract enforcement. • Familiarity with authentication/authorization testing (OAuth2, JWT, SAML). • Knowledge of reputed company 508/WCAG accessibility testing for UI-facing components (developer portals, documentation interfaces). • Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated test suites.
