Shopify Developer Needed – Custom Kit Builder + Preorder Logic (Fitness Equipment Brand)

Overview We are a fast-growing fitness equipment brand on Shopify and are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to build a custom kit / bundle builder directly on our product pages. This is not a basic bundle app setup. We need a clean, scalable, custom solution that handles mixed inventory states (in-stock + preorder) while ensuring accurate SKUs and line items for fulfillment. What We Need Built 1. Custom Product Kit Builder Customers can select different options/components to build their own equipment kits Options may include: Different hardware variants Add-ons Accessories Each selection must map to a specific product variant / SKU 2. Preorder + In-Stock Logic Some components may be: In stock On preorder The product page must: Clearly display preorder messaging (ETA, notice, etc.) Accurately reflect mixed availability if a kit includes both in-stock and preorder items Preorder items must: Still be purchasable Flow correctly through checkout Appear clearly on the order confirmation and admin side 3. Accurate Line Items for Fulfillment Orders must show: Each selected component as a separate line item Correct SKUs for every item This is critical for: Warehouse fulfillment Partial shipments Backorders / preorder tracking 4.
