Investor Relatoins Manager
Job Overview:
We are hiring an Investor Relations Manager to lead investor engagement and retention, capital formation, and investor operations across our Reg A+ and Reg D offerings. This role owns the investor relationship from first contact through funding, reinvestment, reporting, and lifecycle management.
The Investor Relations Manager is accountable for converting investor interest into committed capital while ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and well-documented investor experience. This position sits at the intersection of fundraising, investor communication, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Current Investor Engagement
• Manage investor conversations from initial outreach through funding and reinvestment, ensuring a consistent and professional experience.
• Maintain ongoing communication with current investors to support reinvestment and long-term relationships.
• Monitor investor inboxes and phone lines and provide timely, accurate responses to all inquiries.
• Serve as a primary resource for questions related to strategy, performance, timelines, and process.
• Lead the creation and distribution of investor communications, including quarterly updates.
New Investor / Prospect Capital Formation
• Build, manage, and convert a qualified investor pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, campaigns, webinars, direct outreach, and investor events
• Conduct booked calls with prospective investors and follow up through phone, email, and text
• Educate prospective investors on strategy, structure, risks, timelines, and portfolio construction in a compliant manner.
• Convert qualified prospects into committed capital across Regulation A+ and Regulation D offerings.
• Maintain CRM accuracy, activity tracking, commitments, and follow-up workflows.
Subscription, Ticket, and Custodian Oversight
• Oversee the full subscription process for investors, including inquiries, documentation, and payment coordination, internal tracking updates, and portal on-boarding.
• Monitor and manage Broker-Dealer and RIA tickets to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely processing.
• Coordinate with custodians, advisors, and transfer agents to resolve issues and move subscriptions to completion.
• Review and approve subscription packets prior to executive signature.
• Ensure finalized subscription documents are properly executed, stored, and organized for monthly closings.
Reporting, Compliance, and Ongoing Operations
• Track all investments and commissions in the tracking system, ensuring correct allocation between Regulation A and Regulation D escrow accounts.
• Confirm issuance accuracy and position files with custodians after transfer agent processing.
• Maintain internal trackers, scorecards, and monthly performance metrics.
• Manage updates to subscription agreements and investor documentation
• Oversee onboarding of BD and custodial clients into AppFolio
• Support investors with transfers and redemption documentation and coordinate with the Transfer Agent and Finance team to complete processing.
Marketing and Partnerships
• Collaborate with marketing on investor-focused campaigns, webinars, and educational initiatives.
• Participate in investor webinars, calls, conferences, and investor dinners as a representative of the firm.
• Strengthen investor relations processes, documentation standards, and communication workflows.
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on fundraising pacing, investor segmentation, and capital strategy.
• Work with custodians and other partners to present to their audiences.
Qualifications
• 3–7 years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, financial sales, or alternative investments.
• Proven ability to guide investors through complex financial decisions and close commitments.
• Strong understanding of private real estate, mortgage note investing, or private credit strategies.
• Experience with CRM and investor management platforms (GoHighLevel, AppFolio or similar).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable being measured on outcomes rather than activity.
Preferred
• Experience with Reg A+, Reg D 506(b) or 506(c).
• Experience working with custodians, broker-dealers, and transfer agents.
• Prior participation in webinars, live investor presentations, or in-person investor events.

Compensation + Benefits
• Base Salary: $75,000-$100,000 based on experiences and skills
• Bonus based on performance.
