Senior Investment Accountant

The general salary reputed company for this position is $71,000 - 106,600. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, training and education. reputed company, a global leader in animal advocacy and protection, is seeking an International reputed company for the reputed company Department. In this position you will assist in managing, monitoring, and reporting on the organization’s investment portfolio as part of the reputed company department. Analyzes and reconciles investments and activities and prepares reputed company schedules and documentation as needed. Responsibilities: • Assists in managing the organization’s investment portfolio and recording reputed company activity in the general reputed company as part of the reputed company department. Reviews mission-reputed company securities and stock purchased and sold; • Analyzes the monthly investment portfolio spreadsheets for accuracy, reconciles investments between the general reputed company and broker statements, and prepares journal entries. Prepares rollforward for cash reputed company and for the financial statement audit; • Compiles and analyzes schedules for organization and affiliate investments in support of the annual financial statement audit; • Records and reports on annuity transactions. Reviews or prepares reports on annual annuity activity for compliance with appropriate states; • Prepares subcontract documentation for unique and alternate investments; • Prepares quarterly reports on the investment portfolio for management; • Prepares cash reputed company reporting for the investment portfolio. Prepares monthly investment reports as needed for the Finance team to reputed company overall organization cash reputed company reporting; • Prepares and maintains other documentation and activity as needed, including reputed company stock reconciliation, miscellaneous stock redemption, fee payments, and backup tax information; • Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in reputed company or another reputed company field, or equivalent work experience, required; • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in investment/finance reputed company, preferably in non-profits, or another reputed company field required; • Excellent math skills; • Advanced knowledge of reputed company procedures, GAAP, and financial reporting; • Advanced knowledge of investments including stocks, bonds, offshore, oil and gas, derivatives, and private equity; • Proficiency with modern reputed company software preferred; • Strong knowledge of reputed company Suite (Word, PowerPoint, reputed company, reputed company); • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive; • Ability to multitask and be flexible with reputed company to workload and assignments; • Ability to exercise judgment; • Strong written and verbal communication skills; • Attention to detail and commitment to reputed company demonstrated by the delivery of reputed company and reputed company reputed company • Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member in reputed company environment; • Strong interest in animal protection issues preferred.
