Remote Salesforce Admin/Developer

Job Summary:Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Salesforce Admin/Developer to join our dynamic and globally distributed technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the administration and development of our Salesforce platform, ensuring system integrity, enhancing user experience, and driving digital transformation across key business functions. This remote role requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for optimizing business processes through Salesforce solutions.Key Responsibilities:• *Serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment, including user setup, role assignments, permissions, and data integrity.• *Develop customized solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.• *Design and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process builders, and flows.• *Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations to identify business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.• *Perform regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce releases, applying necessary updates and testing thoroughly.• *Manage data migration, cleansing, and integration with external systems using tools such as Data Loader, APIs, or middleware platforms.• *Provide technical support, training, and documentation to end-users and internal stakeholders.• *Ensure adherence to best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability of Salesforce applications.• Required Skills and Qualifications:• *Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• *Salesforce Administrator Certification is required (Advanced Admin preferred).• *Salesforce Platform Developer I certification strongly preferred.• *Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and administration practices.• *Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Experience.• *Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or Zapier is a plus.• *Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.• *Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.• Experience:• *Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer.• *Hands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning development.• *Proven track record of successful project delivery in agile environments.• Working Hours:• *Full-Time Position• *Flexible working hours with some overlap in US EST or IST time zones depending on project needs.• *Monday to Friday; occasional weekend availability for deployments or urgent support.• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• *In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security models, data management, and reporting tools.• *Familiarity with DevOps processes using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX.• *Excellent time management and organizational skills.• *Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into technical outcomes.• *A collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude toward innovation and continuous improvement.• Benefits:• *Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.• *100% remote work flexibility.• *Opportunities for continuous learning and Salesforce certification sponsorship.• *Supportive and inclusive work culture.• *Paid time off, holiday leaves, and wellness initiatives.• *Access to global clients and enterprise-level projects.• Why Join Houston Skilled Consultancy?At Houston Skilled Consultancy, we believe in empowering our employees with cutting-edge tools, a collaborative environment, and unmatched career development opportunities.
