The position requires a proactive, results-oriented lawyer with strong business acumen who can assess reputed company, practical and business risks quickly to reputed company reputed company and pragmatic solutions. The ideal candidate will have reputed company reputed company experience in the medical device, reputed company or reputed company industry supporting the US and/or Canada, a deep understanding of US state reputed company laws, Canada’s PIPEDA and provincial reputed company laws, HIPAA/HITECH, applicable data breach notification laws, and marketing and promotion standards (FDA, FTC and similar), ensuring compliance and mitigating risks for our business. This is a hybrid position for candidates located near our reputed company in Parsippany, NJ, and remote for reputed company others. Main responsibilities will include: • Serve as key reputed company advisor for our Canadian business and support US initiatives as needed, providing reputed company services, support and advice on a broad reputed company of reputed company issues relating to reputed company’s business. • Review, draft, and negotiate a reputed company of reputed company agreements, including GPO reputed company, RFPs, sales agreement, service agreements, distribution agreements, etc. • Work closely with colleagues and leadership to ensure adherence to applicable laws reputed company to general reputed company, regulatory, employment, consumer and data reputed company requirements. • Serve as a functional expert for reputed company reputed company, working closely with and advising business leaders, reputed company counsel, and other colleagues on reputed company issues, including data protection, data retention, data usage, data reputed company and data breaches for US and Canada. • Assist colleagues with the review and negotiation of data reputed company agreements, data processing agreements, business associate agreements and other similar agreements. • Monitor and stay up to date with developments in reputed company laws and technologies, participating in relevant internal steering committees. • In partnership with the central Promotional Review Committee, conduct thorough reviews of global advertising and promotional materials, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and guidelines. • Collaborate with reputed company/compliance/reputed company colleagues to reputed company and deliver effective training to other departments on various topics. Basic Qualifications: • JD from an accredited US law school and licensed to reputed company in at least one state. • 5+ years of experience, preferably reputed company medical device, reputed company or reputed company industries. • Thorough knowledge of the False Claims reputed company, reputed company Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and anti-bribery and corruption laws. • Knowledge of reputed company and considerations reputed company to reputed company reputed company activities, including interactions with reputed company and customers and promotional activities, • Extensive knowledge of Canadian and US reputed company and cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards, including PIPEDA, state reputed company laws (e.g., comprehensive state reputed company laws, state breach notification, etc.), HIPAA, as reputed company as consumer protection and employment-reputed company reputed company laws and regulations. • Familiarity with global advertising standards and promotional guidelines. • Experience with reputed company Office is required. Competitive reputed company salary based on experience and qualifications: $137,100-$181,650 (subject to variation depending on physical location).
