Freelance Storyboard Artist [80092]

Our client, a major technology company transforming public safety, is seeking a talented and creative contract Storyboard Artist with experience in Virtual Reality and Animation to join our team by November 2025. In this role, you’ll work closely with a Game Designer and VR Art Director to help visualize compelling VR experiences through expressive storyboards and animatics.Project Duration: 2 months, possibility to extend to 3 month depending but not guaranteed.Portfolio: RequiredLeveling: Mid levelTime Zone: Must work PST time zone• Create clear, engaging storyboards for VR experiences, focusing on strong posing, composition, and cinematic flow• Develop animatics using Adobe After Effects to visualize timing and sequence• Collaborate with Game Designers and Creative Leads to explore narrative and gameplay moments• Provide quick iteration and visual ideation based on creative feedback• Support world-building with concept art (2D and 3D, if applicable)• Excellent drawing skills with emphasis on gesture, posing, and visual storytelling• Must be reliable, work independently, be accountable, self starter, motivated, able to take a task and deliver on itNice to Have:• Background in Concept Art (2D and/or 3D)• Previous experience with immersive media, games, or interactive storytelling• Proficiency in creating animatics using After Effects• Experience working in cross-functional creative teamsPerks & Benefits:• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.• Life Insurance.• 401(k) Program.• Commuter Benefit.• eLearning & Ongoing Training.• Education Reimbursement.• Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.If you meet the qualifications and are excited about this opportunity, !
