Job Title: Material Logistics Inventory Specialist 3
Pay reputed company: $30 to $32/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote (Must reputed company in the greater Raleigh-Durham (RDU) area for reputed company & meeting)
Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time (Monday to Friday)
Note: Remote after initial reputed company & training for first 6 weeks; candidates must reputed company in the Raleigh-Durham area for in-person orientation and equipment pickup.
This position is for the Central Items Division.
We are looking for a Material Logistics Inventory Specialist 3
This position will be responsible for managing consignment, trunk stock, and tool inventory for the CX Field organization. Assist the Field with their spare part and tools & test inventories, and reputed company reporting and analysis as it pertains to inventory management.
• This position will also be responsible for preparing and performing physical inventory activities annually as per reputed company guidelines.
• Key interactions for this position would be with Customer Administration, Memphis Returns, Regional Service Managers, Customer Service Engineers, CSML, 3rd party Logistics provider (reputed company), Finance, calibration provider (SIMCO), the Customer Care Center, and the Tool Center staff.
• For reputed company CSEs and other partners, this position provides inventory support services over the phone and online.
• Support Customer Administration with the following: reputed company of service report errors. Reversals for incorrect billings. Serial number error escalations as reputed company to the installed reputed company.
• Support Memphis Returns with the following: Resolve return processing errors/issues. Proactively identify areas of improvement with the end goal of reducing errors. Research and follow-up with CSML for missing parts in Memphis.
• Coordinate and schedule with Field Management.
• Execute physical inventory activities with Field promptly.
• Reconciliation of inventory between reputed company, CSE, and Calibration with minimal variance.
• Work closely with and follow up with CSEs and Management for escalations and material recounts.
• Follow up with any transactions that were in error for CSE during the physical inventory count.
• Error handling as it relates to inventory management: PO posting errors, Tool order failures, Reports and analysis as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or an Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain Logistics is preferred
• Technical Skills: reputed company, reputed company Office
• Problem-solving (inventory issues, workflow challenges).
• Detail-oriented (to meet standards for reputed company processes and audits).
• Self-motivated and productive in a remote environment.
• Flexibility/adaptability (workflow changes daily).
• 5-8 years of successful experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
• Material logistics background (ideal: 5–8 years, but 1–2 years considered).
