Position Overview We’re seeking a skilled Xactimate Estimator to join our remote estimating team. This role involves writing reconstruction and mitigation estimates based on photos, scope notes, and documentation provided by our field partners and clients. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every estimate is clear, detailed, and aligned with carrier and industry standards. Responsibilities • Write accurate and detailed Xactimate estimates for reconstruction and mitigation projects • Review photos, moisture logs, and field notes to build comprehensive estimates • Maintain consistent quality and turnaround times (typically 24–48 hours per assignment) • Communicate professionally with the Scope Genius team to clarify project details • Ensure line items, quantities, and pricing align with IICRC and insurance carrier standards • Upload all deliverables through the Scope Genius client portal • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times Requirements • 1–3 years of proven experience writing reconstruction and/or mitigation estimates • Active Xactimate license or subscription required • Strong understanding of restoration industry standards (IICRC, Xactimate pricing structure, etc.) • Excellent attention to detail and grammar • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines • Strong organizational and communication skills Preferred Qualifications (a plus but not required) • Adjuster experience (carrier or independent) • Mitigation background or field restoration experience • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) • Familiarity with insurance carrier documentation and photo standards What Makes Scope Genius Different • Consistent weekly pay – estimates are reviewed and paid promptly every Friday • Clear communication and support – our internal review team ensures you get quick feedback • Growth opportunities – top performers are offered larger project scopes, priority assignments, and leadership roles • Professional network – work alongside restoration pros, adjusters, and estimators nationwide • Work-life balance – flexible remote work that fits your schedule Compensation • $55 per estimate • $75 for larger files with 200+ line items • Performance-based bonuses and recurring work opportunities for top contributors Be Prepared to: Send your resume and 2 sample estimates Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Referral program Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
