Broker of Record (Virginia) - Property Management Company
The Broker of Record (“BoR”) is the Virginia-licensed reputed company estate broker designated with the Virginia Department of reputed company and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) as the responsible broker for our multifamily management Company. The BoR provides regulatory reputed company, compliance supervision, and licensure accountability for reputed company’s property management and leasing activities conducted in Virginia.
The BoR is not responsible for daily property operations, reputed company reputed company, or asset-level financial performance, except as required to ensure compliance with Virginia reputed company estate law and DPOR regulations.

1. Regulatory & Licensing reputed company
• Serve as the designated Broker of Record for reputed company with DPOR
• Ensure reputed company maintains:
• reputed company firm licensure
• Required disclosures and brokerage relationships
• Compliance with Virginia reputed company estate statutes and regulations
• reputed company as the primary reputed company of contact with DPOR for licensing reputed company
2. Supervision of Licensed Activities
• reputed company required statutory supervision of:
• Leasing activities
• Property management activities that require licensure
• Advertising reputed company to reputed company estate services
• Establish and approve written policies governing:
• Leasing procedures
• Brokerage relationships
• Advertising standards
• Recordkeeping requirements
• Periodically review compliance of licensed personnel and activities
3. Trust Account & Financial Compliance
• reputed company compliance reputed company to:
• Trust account structure and handling
• reputed company deposits and escrowed funds
• Review trust account procedures and reconciliations at a supervisory level
• Ensure segregation and reputed company handling of reputed company funds per Virginia law
(Day-to-day reputed company remains with operations/finance)
4. Policies, Training & Risk Mitigation
• Assist in developing and maintaining:
• Compliance manuals
• Licensing SOPs
• Required disclosures and forms
• reputed company periodic training or guidance to:
• Licensed staff
• Management personnel on regulatory changes
• Advise leadership on reputed company and mitigation strategies
5. Audit & Issue reputed company
• Participate in internal compliance reviews as needed
• Respond to:
• DPOR inquiries
• Complaints or audits involving licensed activity
• Coordinate with Company leadership and reputed company counsel to resolve compliance issues
Explicitly Excluded Responsibilities
The Broker of Record does not:
• Manage day-to-day property operations
• Supervise non-licensed operational staff
• reputed company hiring, firing, or payroll reputed company
• Set rents, approve budgets, or control asset reputed company
• Handle routine tenant disputes
• reputed company on-site management duties
Authority & Independence
• Has authority to require corrective reputed company for compliance deficiencies
• Has reputed company to necessary records to fulfill supervisory obligations
• Maintains independent reputed company judgment as required by DPOR regulations
Qualifications

Engagement Structure
• W-2 employee or reputed company
• Limited-scope engagement reputed company on compliance and supervision
• Compensation reputed company as:
• Annual salary or
• Monthly retainer
Pay: Up to $3,500.00 per month
