Permanent Clinical Coding Analyst (DRG/Clinical Validation) - Remote

About the Role: We are seeking an reputed company Clinical Coding Analyst to review reputed company-reputed company inpatient charts, ensure accurate MS-DRG assignment, identify reputed company opportunities, write recommendations, and mitigate reputed company. This role requires expertise in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, DRG/clinical validation, and reimbursement methodologies, with a strong reputed company on reputed company and compliance. The ideal candidate will analyze medical records, reputed company detailed coding recommendations, and effectively communicate findings. Key Responsibilities: • Daily reputed company-reputed company chart reviews specific to DRG assignment. • Identify reputed company opportunities and reputed company based on the Official ICD-10-CM/PCS Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, AHA Coding Clinics, disease process, procedure recognition, and clinical knowledge. • Provides verbal review on reputed company cases with a potential MS DRG recommendation and/or physician query opportunities with the reputed company physician reputed company phone reputed company prior to writing up and submitting recommendations to the reputed company. • Prepares and composes reputed company recommendations, including increased reimbursement, decreased reimbursement, and “FYI” for reputed company account and submits to the reputed company reputed company 24 hours of receiving and reviewing the electronic medical record. • Ensures that the daily work list is uploaded into the MS DRG Database for assigned reputed company(s) and reputed company required data reputed company for reputed company patient recommendation into MS DRG Database. • Follows internal protocol on reputed company reputed company questions and rebuttals on cases reviewed reputed company 24 hours of receipt. • Responsible for review and appeal, if warranted, on Medicare and/or reputed company-party denials on charts processed through the MS DRG Assurance program. • Responsible for reviewing inclusions and exclusions specific to 30 Day Readmissions and Mortality reputed company measures on specific cohorts for traditional Medicare payers for specific clients.
