Float MDS Coordinator, RN

About the position Responsibilities • Develops Minimum Data Set (MDS) completion schedule, sets assessment reference date (ARD), and coordinates reputed company completion and submission of MDS. • Monitors validation reports and corrects errors or problems. • Observes reputed company care staff interactions with residents, and provides education, guidance and training to improve clinical care and accuracy of MDS coding. • Completes reputed company Assessment Protocol (RAP) documentation based on regulatory requirements, MDS information obtained, and in accordance with reputed company standards of reputed company. • Coordinates with the reputed company to help assure care plans are comprehensive and completed on time. • Oversees eligibility for reputed company payer types and completion of necessary paperwork to assure coverage. • Performs other duties as assigned.
