We are seeking an expert blog post writer who will: 1. Craft a 750-1000-word blog post on various indoor air quality subjects. Some months, I'll give you the topic, other months you'll choose the topic based on what's trending. AI can be used for research purposes, but the blog is to be written by you and show as 0% on all AI-checking tools. 2. Sometimes the topic is scientifically complex; other times it is easy to understand and write about. This is where your medical expertise (preferred) comes into play 3. Translate the complex and difficult to understand or boring topics into engaging, "" why can't I stop reading this?"" copy that drives engagement and creates loyal readers 4. Ensure all content is well researched, accurate, and up-to-date 5. Optimize for SEO. Select high-impact, low-competition keywords to improve content visibility and engagement. Provide your research 6. Ensure all content aligns with Google’s Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) guidelines to increase our rankings 7. Structure: a. Headline that hooks and ranks: using numbers, how-to, brackets, and/or power adjectives b. An opening that builds curiosity c. Subheadings with keyword-rich H2 d. Body copy that balances SEO and readability e. Use a writing style specific to the blog; AIDA (Attention-Interest-Desire-Action), PAS (Problem-Agitate-Solution), BAB (Before-After-Bridge), FAB (Features-Advantages-Benefits) f. Include recommendations for visual elements (examples, visuals, external sources) to add interest and break up walls of text. g. Recommend links to build authoritativeness. h. Clear communicator who can hit deadlines Milestones & Payments: • First Draft = 10% o Deliver the first draft of the blog following the above criteria with the SEO research. o Payment released after approval. • Second Draft = 20% o Deliver the second draft of the blog with the SEO research. o Payment released after approval. • Final Blog = 70% o Deliver the final blog with the SEO research. o Payment released after approval. Timeline: • First draft due: 10/15/2025 • Second draft due: 10/17/2025 • Final blog due: 10/22/2025 Deadlines are firm. If you cannot deliver on time, you must let me know minimum 12 hours before the due date so we can discuss it. If no notice is given and work is late, I reserve the right to cancel the milestone and close the contract. Quality Standards: • Content must be original, and AI-free. • Any information shared during the project is confidential and may not be disclosed or reused outside the scope of the project • I may end the contract at any time if deadlines, quality, or communication standards are not met; payment will only be made for approved milestones delivered up to that point. Payment is tied to quality. Work must meet the standards we agree on. If the draft doesn’t meet these, I won’t approve the milestone until it’s corrected. Revisions: • Up to 3 rounds of revisions are included. • Extra revisions require additional payment. Communication: • All communication and file sharing through UpWork only. • Regular updates/check-ins expected. • If there is no response or update for more than 1 day without notice, I have the right to close the contract. Final Agreement: By accepting this contract, you agree that deadlines and quality standards are mandatory conditions for payment release. Work must be delivered on time, in line with the agreed scope, and meet the professional quality standards outlined at the start of the project. If deadlines are missed without prior notice, or if the work does not meet the agreed quality standards, I reserve the right to withhold milestone approval, request revisions, or close the contract without full payment.
