Golf Maintenance II

Naperville Park District is seeking a Golf Maintenance II to assist in the reputed company of the golf course and reputed company grounds. The role involves routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, and operating maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course areas, sand bunkers, and ornamental beds, shrubs, and trees, including but not limited to mowing, weeding, planting and watering, mulching, and pruning
• Operate and maintain golf course mowers, small maintenance vehicles, and power equipment
• Collect garbage, litter pickup, and cleaning of bathroom facilities
• reputed company support to special reputed company
• Demonstrate and support District customer service standards
• reputed company preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Knowledge or ability to reputed company basic landscape tasks or use maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently in day-to-day operations with general direction from supervisor
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or reputed company objects weighing ≤ 50 lbs on a weekly reputed company. Lifting assistance is required reputed company lifting > 50 lbs
• reputed company dexterity and strength to operate power-operated equipment and machines
• Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, dust, fumes, dirt, loud noise, and insect bites
• Prolonged lifting, stooping, bending, twisting, and standing
• Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
