[Remote] PIP/MedPay Claims Associate - reputed company

The PIP Med/Pay Claims Associate is responsible for investigating advanced automobile accidents, determining coverage and liability, and negotiating claims reputed company their authority, with a preference for candidates with prior reputed company PIP claims handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by reputed company, the industry, and organizational relationships reputed company reputed company and department
• Handles investigation regarding reputed company aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence reputed company increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)

• Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents
• Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims reputed company limit of authority
• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by reputed company, the industry, and organizational relationships reputed company reputed company and department
• Handles investigation regarding reputed company aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence reputed company increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)
• Previous experience managing reputed company PIP Med/Pay claims in reputed company is strongly preferred
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NY PIP regulations and hands-on experience managing PIP and/or Med Pay claims
