Data Analyst
Community Counseling of Bristol County (CCBC) is a non-profit community mental health center dedicated to changing the way mental health is treated in Southeastern Massachusetts. The Data Analyst will support care coordination for MassHealth members, manage member data, generate operational reports, and provide IT support for clinical platforms in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with technological issues with and CCBC technology (remote server, email, Shared drives, etc.) Coordinate with CCBC IT for issues requiring additional support
- Support Data and Enrollment manager with duties related to referral assignment, enrollment, data coordination, and On-boarding new staff
- Be able to support staff and supervisors with this on-site and remotely (zoom)
- Generate and schedule multiple recurring weekly/periodic management reports from the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to meet cyclical needs of multiple managers
- Demonstrate strong basic spreadsheet skills (e.g., using Microsoft Excel) for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation of information
- Interpret management reporting needs and translate these requirements into effective report designs within the EHR or through data extraction and spreadsheet manipulation
- Work collaboratively with various department managers to fulfill their reporting requirements accurately and on schedule
- Experience with Power BI is desired but not necessary; candidates should possess a strong desire to learn about the platform within a mentored environment
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity when downloading, manipulating, and reporting information from source systems into final report format
Skills
- BS or comparable experience
- Advanced skills working with Excel
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and seek guidance as needed
- Good organizational skills, in addition to effective verbal, written and computer skills
- Data analysis certification preferred
- Experience with Power BI is desired but not necessary; candidates should possess a strong desire to learn about the platform within a mentored environment
- Certification in Data Analysis preferred
