Field Applications Specialist I

The Field Applications Specialist I will support the Purification Business Unit by conducting virus clearance studies and managing field equipment, ensuring operational readiness and supporting laboratory reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Support reputed company virus clearance studies for filling at BSL-2 facilities
• Prepare study reports from validation studies for customers
• Maintain small reputed company virus filtration kits
• Ensure reputed company calibration and verification of equipment
• Support internal laboratory reputed company at the Glenview facility (with supervision)
• Generate technical reports from internal studies (under the guidance of a senior FA member)

Skills

• BS in Life Sciences
• 0 - 2 years lab experience
• Experience operating with sterile technique
• Strong verbal and communications skills required
• Experience with nano-filtration or other protein purification is a plus
