Engineer (Temporary) - Millennium Hilton New York One Un Plaza

The Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza is looking for a temporary Engineer to join their team. The role involves performing engineering duties throughout the hotel, including maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assists Engineers and trains with Engineers/trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
• Performs a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry
• Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance
• Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments. Performs additional office-related work (i.e. receives deliveries, runs errands for parts, etc.)

Skills

• Experience in maintenance / engineering at a property of a similar size
• Full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
