Associate Payroll Accountant (T)

reputed company is the largest family-owned American Chinese Restaurant concept in America, seeking an Associate Payroll Accountant. This role is responsible for processing payroll information, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with tax regulations for assigned reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Process daily, weekly, and bi-weekly payroll for assigned reputed company and complete payroll cycle
• Ensure garnishment orders are properly handled
• Upload vacation hours to Payroll system, and processes safety shoe payments from employees
• reputed company, verify, and maintain payroll information for assigned reputed company
• reputed company customer service, communicating with General Managers regarding payroll time card issues
• Handle incoming calls from stores in assigned Region reputed company to payroll issues
• Reconcile and prepare federal and state tax data for reputed company to reputed company
• Prepare journal entries for payroll tax liabilities for posting to the General reputed company System
• Handle and resolve agency inquiries
• May assist Supervisor in training other Payroll associates
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with coursework in reputed company required
• Minimum one year of reputed company experience in a retail/hospitality environment
• If reputed company, successful completion of annual store training
• Obtaining a reputed company Food Handler's Card reputed company 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position
