Sales Development Representative
Emergent Software is a fast-growing software development, cloud consulting, and data engineering company serving clients across the country. As an entry-level Sales Development Representative, you will manage relationships within the SMB customer segment and collaborate with the marketing team to generate new leads.
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships within the SMB customer segment
- Partner with the marketing team to execute lead generation strategies
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, outreach, and follow-up
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records in the CRM system
- Support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
- Stay current with industry trends and Microsoft technologies to articulate our value proposition
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM systems a plus
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Prior internship or experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
- Knowledge of sales development best practices and outreach strategies
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
