Data Engineer-Snowflake

About the position Responsibilities • Document and script data models to support business use cases. • Develop infrastructure scripts to build databases, tables, and metadata. • Perform unit tests to ensure data integrity and reliability. • Integrate with data lineage tools like data world and visualization tools like Power BI. • Identify and communicate data quality issues in source systems. • Maintain and manage metadata across data assets. Requirements • Strong experience in Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing. • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data transformation and automation. • Experience with metadata management and data governance best practices. • Knowledge of data integration tools and best practices for data lineage tracking. • Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools for reporting. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-haves • Experience with data.world or similar data lineage tools. • Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion techniques. • Knowledge of arenaflex/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
