Software Quality Assurance Tester - 100% Remote#25-24989 Rochester, MN Fully Remote Contract Starts 11/10/2025 Ends 5/08/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is seeking a Software Quality Assurance/Tester for a 6-month contract position with our healthcare services client. The position will be fully remote. Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (W-2). Job Description: This position provides software quality assurance services for projects and systems. Documentation and execution of manual test cases in support of several vended web/mobile applications within the provider and patient space. Job Responsibilities: Supports the development of deliverables, which include defining, performing, and documenting product validation for new and/or modified applications. Investigates operational and process problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Maintains quality records and metrics status reports; guides and directs lower-level personnel on the setup and performance of quality controls. Devises and applies quality controls for in-house and vended products. Assists in the execution of quality reviews under the direction of the project team or a senior quality colleague. May need to maintain test library and scripts in test management tools. (e.g., Quality Center). Required Experience: Expertise in testing vended applications Experience testing mobile/web apps using ADO (Azure DevOps) Agile, and waterfall methodologies Actively participating in meetings Experience documenting, maintaining, and executing well-structured, manual test cases An ability to prioritize work across several product lines in a fast-paced environment Motivated individual who digs in to familiarize themselves/find answers to knowledge gapsTesting vended applications ADO (Azure DevOps) Agile and waterfall methodologies Actively participating in meetings Documenting, maintaining, and executing well-structured, manual test cases Ability to prioritize work across several product lines in a fast-paced environment Motivated individual who digs in to familiarize themselves/find answers to knowledge gaps Experienced with software development lifecycles as they relate to product verification and validation. Experienced with the preparation of testing reports and coordinating project testing. Experienced in mentoring test colleagues and project teams on the software test process. Strong background in productivity software: e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and browsers. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures from a field of specialization (testing, software development, or data management). Must possess strong analytical thinking skills, excellent documentation skills, an ability to interact with people at all levels, and possess skills to cope with ambiguous situations. Must have the ability to direct projects, participate in teams, and work independently to make decisions appropriate for the business and technical environment. Requires strong analytical, organizational and interaction skills. Able to cross-analyze software development documentation (business requirements, function specification, design specification) to ascertain system functionality/features. Able to gain an understanding of the applicable systems and business operational practices and procedures as they relate to product validation. Will be required tomunicate with a wide range of audiences (i.e., technical and business). Desired Experience: Using Aha! Project development software Healthcare industry experience Project management skills Knowledge of test management tools desired (e.g., Quality Center) Required Education: -Bachelor of Science degree with training/experience in software development, software testing or quality control. OR -Associate's degree in aputer-related field and two (2) years of professional experience in software development, software testing or quality control. OR -Six (6) years of professional experience in software development, software testing or quality control. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Certification and/or training in quality or testing certification e.g., ISO Service Management, CSTP, or ITIL desired.
