Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from government clients, documenting details of conversations and utilizing scripts and resources to guide interactions
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about programs, educating customers and answering questions in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain a reliable and secure home office setup, including a sufficient private internet connection and the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable
  • Utilize technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet, to efficiently manage customer interactions
  • Meet department quality assurance standards and metrics, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Educate customers on available resources and services, promoting awareness and understanding of program benefits and features
  • Follow established protocols and apply sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information, adhering to strict security and data protection guidelines

Security Clearance Requirement

Please note that this role requires the ability to obtain a public trust entry of duty security clearance, as you will be working with government clients. This involves undergoing a thorough background check and meeting specific eligibility criteria. Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and online reference materials
  • Ability to pass a language knowledge assessment, demonstrating excellent communication and language skills
  • Strong internet connection, due to the remote nature of this role, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in a call center environment
  • Previously cleared for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (Government Clients Only), or willingness to undergo the security clearance process
  • Licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors, demonstrating expertise in specific industries
  • Previous experience with FEMA Call Center or similar emergency response operations
