As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a talented team that's passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving business growth. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Answering incoming calls and assisting callers with inquiries related to payment or policy status, new business, renewals, endorsements, inspections, deficiency letters, cancellations, and CEA (payment/policy/quotation status) * Performing daily assigned work with primary emphasis on call center activities, including researching and resolving customer or broker questions/problems * Handling agency licensing tasks, such as registering new brokers, address changes, agency mergers, and other related activities * Following up with other departments to resolve problem files and ensuring timely resolution * Inputting data in a desktop database for all incoming calls and maintaining accurate records * Assisting customers at the front desk when necessary and providing exceptional service * Distributing faxes and other correspondence to the department and facilitating the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required * Participating in individual and group training designed to improve service and stay up-to-date on industry developments * Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned by management **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma and basic computer skills * 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience * Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on phone skills * Good interpersonal skills, both internal and external, and the ability to work well in a team environment * The ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision * Sound decision-making skills and the ability to exercise occasional decision-making and judgment **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills * Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field * A degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or a related field **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service * Proficiency in desktop software applications, including databases and customer relationship management systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
