Job Overview

As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in improving the customer experience by providing in-station real-time, hands-on support to ensure our customers receive their packages on time, as promised. Your role will also involve connecting customers with experts who can provide them with the most accurate and up-to-date information about their packages. Key Responsibilities

As a Delivery Station Liaison at a Locker / Counter Hub, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with customers directly in-person, as well as via phone and email
  • Empathizing with and prioritizing customer needs to ensure their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
  • Upholding arenaflex values and respecting every customer, regardless of their background or circumstances
  • Resolving issues and setting appropriate expectations with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Clearly understanding and responding appropriately to the issues that customers present, using your knowledge and expertise to provide accurate and helpful solutions
  • Consistently composing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses to customer issues, using your excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with our customers
  • Approaching problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome, using your analytical skills to identify the root cause of issues and develop effective solutions
  • Making quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer, using your discretion and expertise to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Working a flexible Full-Time (40 hours per week) schedule, including evenings and weekends, to ensure our customers receive the support they need, when they need it

Physical Demands

The role will require you to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Carry, lift, push, and pull up to 49 pounds, using your physical strength and endurance to handle packages and equipment
  • Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, using your agility and flexibility to navigate our warehouse and delivery facilities
  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, using your hearing protection to ensure your safety and well-being
  • Work in an environment where the temperature may vary due to outside weather conditions and is not controlled, using your adaptability and resilience to work effectively in changing conditions

A Day in the Life

As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be based at one of our last-mile delivery warehouses, where our leading logistics system operates. As orders are dispatched and delivered, you will be in contact with our warehouse associates, delivery partners, and customers when they need guidance. You will be responsible for informing our delivery partners when a customer needs to reschedule a delivery, and you will work to resolve any delivery issues that arise, using your expertise and knowledge to ensure our customers receive a great experience every time.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent diploma, demonstrating your commitment to education and personal development
  • Previous experience in Customer Service, showing your ability to work with customers and resolve issues effectively
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work time to ensure efficiency, using your organizational skills to manage your workload and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Outlook, demonstrating your technical skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers, database searching, and instant messenger tools, showing your ability to adapt to new technologies and systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work-related experience, demonstrating your commitment to education and personal development
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, showing your ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators, demonstrating your analytical skills and ability to drive results
  • Experience working on a merchandising / brand ambassador team for a nationally recognized consumer brand, showing your ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
