Thought-Leadership Content Strategist (Strategy-Only) for Multi-Platform Narrative Direction
I am looking for an expert-level content strategist to help design a thought-leadership content strategy across social platforms, primarily LinkedIn and any others you believe are appropriate.
My work is centered on original frameworks, models, and long-form ideas. The challenge is not generating ideas or building personal visibility. The challenge is designing a content strategy that accurately represents this thinking, sequences it well over time, and helps it land with the right audience without dilution or drift.
This is a strategy-only role. I am not looking for someone to write posts, schedule content, manage social media accounts, or create graphics. I am looking for someone who can learn my work deeply and help keep content direction aligned with its core logic and intent.
In this role, you will
--spend time learning and accurately understanding my proprietary frameworks, models, and philosophical through-lines.
--You will help design an overall content strategy and trajectory, rather than a list of topics or a posting calendar.
--You will help determine which ideas should come first, which ideas need more runway, and which ideas should not be emphasized yet.
--You will help ensure that content direction stays aligned with true north over time, and you will pressure-test strategy for clarity, coherence, audience understanding, and platform appropriateness.
--A key part of this work is helping connect original thinking to engagement without flattening or oversimplifying it.
In terms of how we will work together, I am comfortable writing my own posts and even posting them myself. What I am looking for from you is direction, not execution. This work will involve live strategy conversations, iterative thinking, clarifying questions, and real-time dialogue. The focus is on trajectory and coherence over time, not volume or cadence.
The estimated commitment for this role is up to approximately ten hours per month. The initial engagement is expected to last one to three months, with the option to continue if it proves to be a strong mutual fit. This is an hourly role with a clear cap.
This role is likely a good fit for someone with
--experience in thought-leadership content strategy, narrative or positioning strategy, founder or executive content strategy, or
--for someone who has worked as an editor, journalist, or long-form writer and moved into strategic work.
--It is also a good fit for consultants who are comfortable working with original intellectual property.
This role is likely not a good fit for someone whose background is primarily
--social media management,
--content calendars and posting cadence,
--SEO-first content, growth or engagement hacking, or
--execution-only roles without strategy ownership.
The mindset required for this work includes comfort learning complex, original ideas, intellectual curiosity and precision, a willingness to ask clarifying questions, a preference for getting things right rather than fast, and the ability to think in arcs rather than isolated posts.
I am less interested in credentials and more interested in how you think.
This role is intentionally specific. If you enjoy working with original ideas and helping them land clearly and coherently over time, I would love to hear from you.
