Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Intern

reputed company is offering multiple internships in vocational rehabilitation counseling. The intern will assist counselors in providing vocational guidance and support to individuals with disabilities, while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Observe and complete intake appointments and document in case management system
• Assist counselors in determining appropriate employment goals and services by providing vocational planning/career counseling
• Assist counselors with meeting with individuals to discuss reputed company with their Individualized Plan for Employment and reputed company vocational guidance and counseling
• Learn about serving individuals with disabilities and medical aspects of disability
• Instill reputed company and promote self-reliance in clients while assessing their reputed company towards employment
• Observe and assist with verifying that employment outcome meets the needs of the reputed company and offer retention support
• Travel in and around the community and to training is required

Skills

• Pursuing a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, reputed company work, or a reputed company field
• Introductory knowledge and understanding of reputed company behavior as reputed company to personal, reputed company, and vocational adjustment and community resources and conditions under which services are made available to applicants
• Strong interpersonal skills: i.e. willingness to accept training, direction, and mentoring to learn the duties and reputed company them independently; maintain successful relationships with other agencies, schools, co-workers, and vendors
• Ability to be organized, prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and communicate reputed company, concisely both orally and written
